On 8 April, the Organizer of the first International Seaport Festival held a meeting to adopt the opening and forum script. Mr. Ho Van Nien - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Mr. Vu
Hoang, Director of the festival program, presented the detail of the opening
ceremony's literature script. Accordingly, the opening ceremony will last 60
minutes, including 4 main parts: opening, ritual, art scene and low-level
fireworks. The idea of the content is about the direction of strength from sea,
prosperity from sea, seaports and logistic services, including the advantages
of sea of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Regarding the idea of staging, using
LED screens to convey contents and change the layout of the stage, exploring
the special cultural values of Vietnam"s waters, using the power of the
art forms, focusing the kind of community spirit ...
Also at the
meeting, the Subcommittee of the forum presented the script of the forum.
Accordingly, the forum is called "Vietnam Seaports association and
sustainable development", the forum is divided into 8 sessions with
content sequence: development strategy of the Vietnam Customs of the Government
and the commercial marine industry; Logistic transportation, maritime:
Management and training; seaport Urban development; Logistic business
development: associates in the modern economy; Finance and maritime investment;
Maritime security and contract signing session. Speakers joining the forum are
specific professors, doctors at home and abroad, such as England, Australia,
the U.S., the Latus Group, JICA ...
After the
presentation of the two scripts, Mr. Ho Van Nien commented that the opening script
was good at ideas, content and art image. However, it should emphasize further
the economic relations with other countries, including Japan. Particularly, the
forum should pay attention to the assessment of profession as well as the
content of speeches; request LOMA Company (the unit takes in charge of the 1st
international Seaport Festival) to invite the Ministry of Transport to co-chair
the forum with the provincial People's Committee.
