Securities Law to be promulgated in 2006

The State Securities Commission (SSC) has coordinated with the Asia Development Bank (ADB) to hold the second seminar on the draft Securities Law with the aim of submitting it to the National Assembly for approval in 2006.

The draft Securities Law consists of 13 chapters, covering all activities and areas related to securities and the securities market on the basis of ensuring market rules.

The draft Securities Law is scheduled to be submitted to the Government by the end of 2005 and to the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee for recommendations in the first quarter of the following year. It will then be submitted to the NA for approval during its 10th session in November 2006.
