Re: VPA Annual Meeting 2009 in Phan Thiet City - Invitation for Sponsorship

We are pleased to announce the VPA Annual Meeting 2009 to be held at Novotel Hotel – Phan Thiet city on September 9-11, 2009. The meeting will be organized with business and social functions to meet the expectation of all participants. The tentative program of activities is enclosed for your kind reference.

Participants include directors and delegates from 49 member ports, potential new member ports, officials from the Government Office, Ministry of Transport, Vinamarine, Vinalines, and other agencies and authorities. The Event shall be covered by the central and local mass media.

The meeting is supposed to discuss and decide on various matters concerning the port business in Vietnam including port development, cooperation, exchange of experiences, transfer of technology etc. to meet the demand of the economy in general and challenges of current crisis and international economic integration faced by member ports now and in the coming years.

This is an excellent opportunity for your Company to make new contacts, establish relationship, discuss possible contracts, market the products and services to all the major ports in Vietnam with the participants who are key decision makers in the field.

We hereby invite your participation by sponsoring the Event.

Sponsors are entitled to special privileges such as having Company logo displayed on the Meeting banners, invitation to open sessions of the Meeting, receptions, distribution of company/promotion papers, reception of the meeting documents/materials, arrangement for contact/meeting with officials/ delegates, participation in organized activities, hotel accommodation/transport arrangement, reference in the meeting report, souvenir etc.

Starting from (1) US$3,000 sponsorship, you can enjoy all of the above privileges. At (2) US$5,000 the individual sponsors shall have bigger and separate logo displays including on the Meting backdrop, one 1.2m x 1.4m poster stand for exhibits in the foyer in front of the conference hall, commercial presentation at the Meeting for 20 minutes and one year web banner advertisement with link to your company website on VPA website at www.vpa.org.vn; and the most generous sponsor at (3) US$10,000 shall also be named Main Sponsor of the Event with additional privileges, including bigger logo displays, prime commercial presentation slot, two poster stands for exhibits and A4 size advertisement attached as the back cover of the meeting discussion document.
