Cruise ship between HCMC, Vung Tau unveiled

Ho Chi Minh City-based Ben Thanh Tourist last Saturday launched a new cruise ship route connecting HCMC and Vung Tau.
Owned by Sea-Gull Express Joint Stock Company, the ship can carry up to 300 passengers.

During two hours on board, passengers can have a view of sceneries along the Saigon River, the Can Gio Mangrove Forest and the coastal city of Vung Tau.

Nguyen Dat Danh, CEO of Sea-Gull Express Joint Stock Company, said his company is working with Ben Thanh Tourist to develop more night tours and services on the Saigon River.

The HCMC-Vung Tau tour departs HCMC at 8 am everyday at District 4’s Nha Rong Wharf and leaves Vung Tau at 3.30pm at Cau Da Wharf.

Tickets cost VND280,000 (US$14) per passenger for common deck and VND350,000 (US$18) for VIP deck.
