VPA Participates in Viet Nam Logistics Forum 2026: Connecting the Seaport Community

On 7 November 2026, a delegation from the Vietnam Seaports Association (VPA), led by Chairman Huynh Van Cuong and comprising Chief of Office Le Van Nghia and specialists from the VPA Office, participated in the Viet Nam Logistics Forum 2026 in Quy Nhon, Gia Lai Province.

Under the theme “Connecting Highland Logistics, Reaching Global Supply Chains”, the Forum brought together representatives from central and local authorities, industry associations, experts and businesses to discuss logistics development, policy improvements and stronger regional connectivity.

The plenary session featured a keynote address by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, opening remarks by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Luong Hoang Thai, and welcoming remarks by Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc. Discussions focused on improving the competitiveness of the logistics sector and strengthening connections between production areas, transport networks, seaports and international markets.

The programme also included thematic sessions on improving the legal and policy framework for logistics services and exploring opportunities for logistics development in the Central and Central Highlands regions. Topics such as coastal shipping, the East–West Economic Corridor and agricultural logistics highlighted the role of seaports in linking production areas with markets.

At the exhibition, the VPA booth showcased the facilities, capabilities and operations of its member ports, introducing Viet Nam’s seaport network to delegates and partners. The booth also provided a space for member ports, logistics businesses and government representatives to meet, exchange information and explore opportunities for cooperation.

Through its participation in the Forum, VPA continues to connect the seaport community with stakeholders across the logistics chain, supporting stronger links between seaports, production areas and markets, and contributing to a more integrated, efficient and sustainable logistics system.
