Vietnam Seaports Association
From 28–31 July 2026, a delegation of the Vietnam Seaports Association (VPA), led by Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh, Vice Chairman of the Association, attended the 45th ASEAN Ports Association Working Committee Meeting (APA WCM) in Singapore. The delegation included representatives from VPA member ports: Hai Phong Port, Quy Nhon Port, and CMIT. The meeting was hosted by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), together with Jurong Port and PSA Singapore.
The meeting program included technical sessions focused on cooperation in the port sector among ASEAN member countries. On 30 July, in addition to the Working Committee sessions, the delegation visited the PSA Innovation Centre, which showcased Singapore’s advanced technologies for port management and operations.
During the meeting, the Vietnam Seaports Association delegation attended all discussion sessions and actively exchanged views and contributed on topics including digital transformation, green port development, smart port technologies, and regional logistics connectivity. The delegation also held bilateral meetings with member ports in the region to strengthen cooperation and share port management and operation experience. Participation in regional port events reaffirmed the proactive role of the Vietnam Seaports Association in international activities while creating opportunities to enhance integration and improve the competitiveness of Vietnam’s seaport system in the international port network and global logistics chain.
