The maritime and port sector is entering a period of profound transformation, as requirements for emissions reduction, energy optimization, and sustainable development are increasingly becoming key determinants of competitiveness for seaports worldwide.
In this context, green ports are no longer a vision of the future but are emerging as a practical and strategic development direction for Vietnam’s seaport system.
With the aim of creating a platform for knowledge sharing and policy dialogue, the Vietnam Maritime and Waterways Administration, in cooperation with the Vietnam Seaports Association, will organize the “Vietnam Green Ports 2026” Seminar.
The Seminar will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to:
Update and exchange information on policies and emerging trends in green port development;
Discuss the current situation, opportunities, and challenges in the green transition of Vietnam’s seaports;
Explore practical and viable solutions aligned with the country’s development conditions in the new phase.
